Again everyone is different and you should sleep the amount that feels right for you. This is just a guideline. Studies have shown that the optimal times for sleep for adults are between 10pm-6am. Do what feels right for you but don't ignore those zzz's!! :)

Sleep - Just As Important As Exercise
Sleep is sometimes overlooked and ignored but it is just as important to get enough sleep as it is to eat healthy and exercise. Sleep is when all the magic happens! When your cells heal and repair and your entire body gets a tune up. When you deprive your body of sleep, let's say that your body is not under going it's daily maintenance check. What happens to a car that is not maintained. It breaks or needs repair. Sleep deficiency is linked to many things such as heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke etc... You are putting additional stress on your body when you don't sleep enough and you will notice that you are not as mentality sharp when you are sleep deprived. You feel sluggish and worn down. Everyone is different but here are general rules for each age group and how much sleep you should be getting every night.
